The Book People
The Book People is an independent online organisation with over 100,000 items to choose from selling products internationally.
Allied lighting have recently completed an installation at The Book People Bangor. We were approached to survey and create a report implementing the savings, which could be made through replacing the current fittings with LED lighting. We found the overall energy consumption could be reduced by 63%.
The existing fittings of 241 x 400w Metal Halide and 48 x 250w Metal Halide have been replaced with 190 x 180w LED Sky Lite, 51 x 120w Sky Lite and 48 x 80w Sky Lite complete with photocell LED sensor where required.
The lighting has been replaced throughout the warehouse, convey area and packaging area improving the look and providing a brighter working environment.
