Bloomfield Medical Centre Project
BEFORE
Bloomfield Medical Centre contacted Allied Lighting after becoming frustrated with the energy and maintenance costs connected with its old switch-start fluorescent lighting. Over half of the fittings were faulty, and staff at the practice found themselves spending time and money on replacing the failed lamps.
AFTER
After exploring a number of LED lighting options and testing a few samples, the managers at Bloomfield Medical Centre discovered the Allied Lucid 60 range and saw instantly that the quality was higher than other LED luminaires on the market.
To ensure that the Allied Lucid 60 panels were the right choice for the practice, Bloomfield Medical Centre invested in fittings for one room.
RESULT
After seeing the improved lighting and colour in the test area, all the partners gave the go-ahead for the rest of the surgery to be fitted with luminaires from Allied’s Lucid 60 range. We also revamped the outside of the practice with 20w circular vanguard fittings and compact floodlights for increased visibility and security after dark.
As with all of Allied’s energy-saving LED lights, the Bloomfield Medical Centre’s choice of fittings has meant significant savings for the practice.
We’ve reduced the surgery’s energy-expenditure by over 10,000 kilowatts a year – a 69% saving on energy bills – and the luminaires can be expected to run for years before they need to be replaced.
